In accordance with the county guidelines, we will not be requiring parents or players to be wearing masks or face covering on property any longer, however, it is highly recommend for all persons. Our first priority is to keep the players safe.
It will be up to the parents and players to decide for yourself if you wish to continue wearing your mask or not. We ask that everyone is treated with kindness and no judgement is passed onto other parents or players who choose to continue to wear masks or face coverings.
Friendly reminder that if you are not feeling well to please stay at home.

Summer 2020 Reopening
Dear Parents and Players,
We miss you all, and so look forward to when we can all share the sport we love together in a safe and healthy way.
With the state of California gradually reopening, we look forward to reopening with fresh programming, incredibly safe and organized health management systems in place, a team of coaches and staff ready to provide the absolute best service and experience and reconnecting with our community where we once again can use tennis to impact the lives of our players.
REOPENING SUMMER (June 15, 2020)
We are hoping to reopen in early to mid June with Summer Camps starting the week of June 15, 2020. Don't hesitate to register for your preferred weeks to ensure you get a spot- spots are limited and per week. Register today at http://www.kimgranttennis.pike13.com! We will be putting in the highest safety precautions into place for our Sleep Away Camps at Meadowbrook Swim and Tennis at Monterey Bay. We are so excited for all of our Summer Camps!
“PLAYING IT SAFE”
Tennis, being an individual sport allows you to play safely without coming into contact with other players. Even during doubles, you can stay 6ft apart allowing you to participate safely and enjoy practicing your skill while remaining safe.
As the players' safety is our main concern, new established guidelines for playing and participating in our camps will be in place as soon as we reopen. All coaches, staff, parents and players will be required to abide by this code of conduct. Official community safety guidelines will be sent out to our tennis community in alignment with our reopening. An example of the safety measures will be that only the Coaches will be touching the balls, and we will have smaller groups of players per court to maintain a safe distance. There will also be no high fives.
We will call upon our community to join forces with us, so that can maintain the safety and wellbeing of all.
COVID CREDITS
We wanted to let you know that your credits from the Spring Season are safe and secure and available for use for all Summer Camp registrations, private lessons, semi-private lessons and fitness sessions. These credits will be valid for use until May 31, 2021. Per our Academy Policy, we unfortunately do not offer refunds, but all credits will be given and placed onto your account.
Please be sure to follow us on social media as we will be posting our updates regularly and look out for emails and valuable content coming to your inbox leading up to our reopening.
Warmest Regards,
Kim Grant

Hello Parents and Players,
We wanted to share information with you regarding the COVID-19.
As you know the COVID-19 is affecting many people in our area.
We are so glad that we are an outdoor facility and get to play tennis in the fresh air. We also love that tennis is not a contact sport which allows us to still practice and participate without being restricted in doors and in close spaces to others.
As an Academy, we are consistently sanitizing all of our equipment (demo rackets, ball carts, movers, balls, benches, cones, etc), door handles, tickets, pens, seating areas and all surfaces on and off the court.
Rules to keep our tennis community safe and healthy:
• No high fives
• No hand shakes (no physical contact at this time)
• Only the Coaching Staff will handle/ touch the tennis balls (players will use the sanitized ball mowers or nothing at all) for ball pick up.
• Anyone showing symptoms of cold, flu or COVID-19 are asked to stay home, until better and cleared by their doctor
• All players please wash hands before coming on court
• Please sanitize your racket grip before and after practice
• Should your Coach asks you to wash your hands during practice, please comply with their request
Please see some tips below to assist in keeping your family healthy during this time, shared by the World Health Organization.
