Play DaysPlay Days are a great way for kids age 12 and under to play tennis in a fun, non-threatening, non-elimination, competitive environment. Over the duration of a few hours, a Play Day allows kids to experience serving, rallying and scoring in an informal competition. The emphasis is placed on participation, effort and sportsmanship. These low key competitions are organized in formats that allow children to play again and again, whether they win or lose.
Skill Level - Minimal experience required through players learning to compete. |
Team TennisJTT Local Leagues (Non-Advancing)
Local leagues offer players the opportunity to compete locally against other players and teams in the area. These leagues primarily offer Red ball, Orange ball, Green ball, and Yellow ball competition for beginner to intermediate level players. Teams do not advance to championship team events and the focus of these leagues is to offer level based competition. Parents and volunteers are encouraged to help participate in the program as team captains during the season. All local leagues are run by a USTA Junior Team Tennis local league organizer. |
