Advanced Explained

Students in the Advanced Level are trained to coach themselves, from defining and achieving their own goals to learning how to self-correct during a competitive match if needed.

Typically, Advanced students are candidates for a college tennis scholarship and/or to join a competitive regional team. Earning a scholarship or a spot on a competitive team is difficult. KGTA offers comprehensive assistance in this process – from the application process to interview training to producing videos promoting the player’s abilities, we give our players the greatest chance for success as they aim to take their tennis game to the next level.

Experiencing tournament play is paramount at this level. Many Advanced players receive their first local, and occasionally national, ranking from the United States Tennis Association.
