Academy Policies and Information
-All players of all levels must sign in before attending any clinic or lesson-
Kim Grant Tennis Academy
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be made 24hrs in advance of your scheduled clinic time in order to qualify for a make up.
Please note that there are no make-ups for Saturday Training and Sunday Training, however, excused clinic credits will roll over into the next season to be used for clinic enrollment.
Late cancellations or "no shows" will be charged the full-service price for the lesson and pre-enrolled clinics will be forfeited. Cancellations must be done in writing: email [email protected] or text the KGTA text line on (650) 690-0678.
Late cancellations (less than 24hours) will require a doctor's note or official document as proof of emergency cancellation. Please check the website for court condition updates during the rainy season: www.kimgranttennis.com
KIM GRANT TENNIS ACADEMY DOES NOT OFFER A REFUND POLICY: All prepaid services, lessons, clinics, and camps are to be used up in full within the allotted time period. Unlimited makeups are allowed within each registered season, for lessons cancelled in writing within the 24hr time frame or due to weather. Therefore no refunds or credits will be issued.
COURT NOTICE: We ask that everyone respect the Academy’s policy stating: Parents, guardians, managers and agents are NOT allowed on court unless invited by the coach.
Please note, no photography or video recording without express permission.

SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:Cancel 2 months or more out from 1st day of camp, you get 85% refunded to original form of payment.
Cancel 1 to 2 month out from 1st day of camp, get 70% back in credit on account.
Cancel 3-4 weeks out from 1st day of camp, get 50% back in credit on account.
Cancel 2-3 weeks out from 1st day of camp, get 35% back in credit on account.
Cancel 1-2 weeks out from 1st day of camp, get 20% back in credit on account.
Cancel 5-7 days out from 1st day of camp, get 10% back in credit on account.
Cancel 4 days or less from 1st day of camp, no refund or credit is given.
Booking Policy:
Any service bookings made within a 24hr window of time cannot be completed online. Please email your request to [email protected] or text it to (650) 690-0678 and your reservation request will be promptly responded to within office hours.
Semi-Private Lesson Policy
• Semi-private lessons consist of two players and one coach.
• Parents in the group are responsible for communicating with each other if one of the students is unable to attend a scheduled lesson.
• If one player notifies the academy at least 24 hours they cannot attend the lesson will be charged at the private lesson rate instead of the semi-private rate.
• Participants must notify the academy at least 24 hours in advance if they cannot attend the lesson to avoid being charged.
• The academy is not responsible for communicating absences between players.
Small Group Lesson Policy
• Small group lessons at consist of 3 to 5 players and one coach.
• The lesson rate remains the same for groups with 3, 4, or 5 players.
• If only two players are available for the lesson, it will be charged as a semi-private lesson.
• If only one player is available for the lesson, it will be charged as a private lesson.
• Participants must notify the academy at least 24 hours in advance if they cannot attend the lesson to avoid being charged.
• It is the responsibility of the participants to communicate with each other if they are unable to attend a scheduled lesson.

- For Clinics: If canceled due to poor weather conditions, clinic make ups are available. Please reach out to the office to schedule your make up. If you fail to ask to use your makeup within the same season, the remaining make up(s) will be forfeited.

General Release:
- All players participate in any Kim Grant Tennis Academy related activity at own risk.
- In the event of any illness, or other medical circumstances incurred while my child is attending the tennis program at the “Kim Grant Tennis Academy’, either on or off the premises of the “Kim Grant Tennis Academy”. I hereby give permission to any responsible person employed by the “Kim Grant Tennis Academy”, to take my child to any appropriate treatment facility for any necessary treatment or call an ambulance to do so.
I agree to hold the above Kim Grant Tennis Academy, its employees, representatives or officers, harmless from any action in this respect.
I assume all risks and hazards incidental to my child’s participation in the activities of the “Kim Grant Tennis Academy” (I.E any loss, damage or injury suffered by the player) and hereby release and hold harmless all Kim Grant Tennis Academy and/or the owners, employees, staff and supervisors connected with the program and this company.
I give the Kim Grant Tennis Academy permission to use my or my child’s name and all photographs, videos, voice, and/ or similar materials of my child/myself.
I hereby give consent for my child to be taken off site for Academy related activities deemed necessary by Kim Grant Tennis Academy. - I understand that Kim Grant Tennis Academy reserves the right to refuse service.
