Dear Summer Camper,
Welcome to Kim Grant Tennis Academy Summer Camps! All of us here at KGTA are very excited for the start of our Summer Camps. This year, we have specially prepared programs for your particular level- whether you are a Mini or an Elite player, each program has been designed to suit your tennis needs. Our coaching staff is highly skilled, motivated and trained by Kim Grant to provide you with the best tennis experience possible. Please feel free to speak with any of our coaches, before or after camps, if you have any questions or concerns. Our Front Desk, at the Winter Lodge location, is also available to assist you at any time. We are very serious about the health and safety of our community, with each player being our number 1 priority. A Participation Waiver and Code of Conduct MUST be signed prior to entering any of our camp properties. (If you have not already signed it). Below is some important information for you to know regarding your Summer Camp: LOCATIONS ASSIGNMENTS FOR EACH LEVEL BELOW 9AM-1PM and 6PM -8:30PM Camps held at Winter lodge: Mini, Pre-Beginner, Beginner, Adv-Beginner, Orange Ball Beginner, Intermediate 1, Green Ball Beginner 9AM-1PM, 2-6PM and 6PM-8:30PM Camps held at Woodside High School: Intermediate 2, Teen Development, Intermediate 3, Recreational Yellow, Intermediate 4, Advanced, Elite ADDRESSES: · Kim Grant Tennis Academy (WINTERLODGE): 3005 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA · Woodside High School 2272 Alameda de las Pulgas, Woodside, CA 94061 ARRIVAL PROCESS AND SIGNING IN AND OUT: · A Participation Waiver and Code of Conduct MUST be signed prior to entering property. · All players MUST sign-in before being allowed on court. · Players MUST also sign-out before leaving once their session is complete. TRANSPORTATION: Any players traveling to and from Camp on bicycles must please notify the office prior to the start of camp to ensure coaches are aware that players will not be picked up, but bike/walk home. KGTA BUS TRANSPORTATION: Due to the change in locations we have arranged optional transportation to and from Winter Lodge to the Woodside High School. If you would like your player to be transported, please RSVP by text to 650-690-0678. Please arrive at Winter Lodge at 8am if you require transportation, the Bus will be leaving promptly at 8:15am. The bus will return by 2pm. All parents or guardians will need to fill out the transportation waiver before their player will be allowed onto the bus. (Many of these items can be purchased in our Pro Shop at our main location 3005 Middlefield road) Apparel: · Athletic tennis shoes (must be lace-up - no Velcro is allowed) with socks · No running shoes/cross-trainers for Int. II – Elite players (Tennis shoes only) · Hat/ Visor · Athletic/ Tennis shorts or skirt · Breathable shirt (light colors advised) · Sunglasses *optional* · Sun Safety Notice: If a player does not have a hat, we will provide them with one from our pro shop and charge the family account. Notice: If a player does not have sunscreen, we will provide them with a bottle from our pro shop and charge the family account. Lunch/ Snacks are not provided (staff is not allowed to take players to buy lunch) Purchase on Account: Parents, if you would like your children to purchase snacks using your card saved on file, please send us an email giving us permission to do so. Please also provide a list of items that your child may purchase if you have a preference. For the safety of campers, PLEASE DO NOT PACK ANY SNACKS THAT INCLUDE NUTS . *Please note that on days when it is over 90 degrees we may offer the players fruit pops or popsicles. If you would like us not to give your player a popsicle, please let us know via email or text us at the number 650-690-0678 before the start of camp. *If your player has any allergies, please text us at the number 650-690-0678 before the start of camp!
