At Kim Grant Tennis Academy, we offer a range of private lessons tailored to meet the unique needs and skill levels of each player. Our experienced coaches provide personalized instruction to help you achieve your tennis goals, whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player aiming to refine your technique and strategy.


Types of Private Lessons:

1. One-on-One Lessons
   These individual sessions focus on personalized instruction, allowing the coach to tailor the lesson plan to your specific needs. You'll receive detailed feedback and customized drills to improve your skills quickly and efficiently.
2. Semi-Private Lessons
   Perfect for friends or family members who want to learn together, these lessons offer the benefits of personalized coaching while allowing you to share the experience with a partner. Semi-private lessons are a great way to stay motivated and enjoy the game with others.
3. Specialized Technique Lessons

At Kim Grant Tennis Academy, we offer a variety of tennis lessons tailored to fit your needs. Our lessons are designed to help you achieve your tennis goals, whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. Below is the pricing structure for our different types of lessons


Private Lessons
30-Minute Private Lesson
Description: A quick, intensive session focused on specific skills or techniques.
60-Minute Private Lesson
Price: $100-$200 (per hour)
Description: A comprehensive one-hour lesson tailored to your individual needs.
90-Minute Private Lesson
Description: An extended session for in-depth instruction and practice.


Semi-Private Lessons (2 Players)
30-Minute Semi-Private Lesson
Description: A shared session focusing on doubles strategy and teamwork.
60-Minute Semi-Private Lesson
Description: An hour of personalized coaching for two players, with tailored drills and exercises.
90-Minute Semi-Private Lesson
Description: A longer session for detailed coaching and practice, ideal for doubles partners.


Specialized Technique Lessons
60-Minute Serve and Volley Lesson
Description: Focused instruction on improving your serve and net game.
60-Minute Footwork and Conditioning Lesson

Additional Fees
Off-Site Locations or Private Homes
Additional Court Fee: $20 per session
Description: Applies to lessons held at locations other than Kim Grant Tennis Academy facilities.

Home Visit Fee
Additional Fee: $30 per session
Description: Applies when the coach travels to your private home for the lesson.

• All prices are per hour unless otherwise specified. Booking multiple sessions in advance is available. Please contact us for more information.
• Booking and Cancellation Policy: Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details on scheduling and cancellations. We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any changes to avoid charges.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

At Kim Grant Tennis Academy, we are committed to providing exceptional tennis coaching and ensuring that each lesson is productive and valuable. To maintain the highest standards of service and fairness to our coaches, we have implemented a 24-hour cancellation policy for all tennis lessons.
Cancellation Policy Details:

• Notice Requirement: If you need to cancel or reschedule your tennis lesson, please notify the academy at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to adjust schedules and offer the lesson slot to another client.
• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time will incur the full lesson fee. This policy applies even in the case of illness or emergencies.
• No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for their scheduled lesson without prior notice will also be charged the full lesson fee.

Why This Policy Is Important:

• Coach Livelihood: Our coaches rely on scheduled lessons for their income. Late cancellations and no-shows mean they cannot fill the vacated time slot, resulting in lost income that directly affects their livelihood.
• Resource Allocation: When you book a lesson, you are not only securing the coach’s time but also reserving the tennis court. Last-minute cancellations prevent other clients from using the court, leading to inefficient use of our resources.
• Fairness to All Clients: Providing timely notice of cancellation allows us to offer the available time slot to other clients who may be on a waiting list. This ensures that everyone has a fair opportunity to receive coaching.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we strive to accommodate our clients as much as possible. However, adhering to this 24-hour cancellation policy helps us maintain a fair and professional environment for both our coaches and clients.

     At Kim Grant Tennis Academy, we pride ourselves on providing a top-notch tennis experience for each and every one of our players. We  accommodate children playing mini or junior tennis, nationally-ranked junior players, recreational and competitive adults, college &  professional players, and everyone in between.

     We are able to provide this quality experience because of our passion for the game of tennis. Beginning with Kim Grant herself, and  including our Coaching Team, Administrative Staff, and Office Personnel, everyone at KGTA has the same singular priority – you, the KGTA  student. This consistency and unified focus is evident in all that we do.

     At KGTA, our staff of certified instructors prides itself in providing top-notch, comprehensive, and fun tennis instruction for both youths and adults alike, regardless of skill level. Our range of programs is offered year-round, and can accommodate young children playing mini-  tennis, nationally-ranked junior players, recreational and competitive adults, and everyone in between.

     No player is ever turned away, as we proudly work with Special Needs students and students with disabilities. Tennis is the sport for everyone!
