Tournament Camps

Picture
It is with a great excitement that this is our third year for tournament camps. Our summer program:
Tournament camps! This program has been introduced to focus on the importance of tournament/competitive preparedness of players.  Groups of 2-4 players will work with one coach for the duration of their tournament. Players are to be dropped off at the tournament site  in the mornings and picked up at the end of each day. KGTA will equip each player with a camp shirt and the essential Tournament Camp Guidebook which is comprised of all information, forms, worksheets and advice needed for a successful tournament experience that they  will keep with them and reference as a tool for future matches

Our Tournament Camp will include:
  • Proper match nutrition
  • Warm-up and cool-down techniques
  • Scouting and analysis of competitors
  • Strategy development
  • Mental and emotional strength training and implementation
  • Tournament etiquette
  • Personal pre-match and post-match discussion with coaches
  • Team support during matches
  • Video recording and analysis of competitors and peers
  • Preparation for handling match time obstacles
  • General full time attention and guidance

This is a golden opportunity to take advantage of an intensive tournament  program with immediate feedback and experience processing.  Coaches will be  addressing issues, obstacles and successes as they arise.

Please note: Should all players finish competing in the weekday tournaments  before the final, then at the discretion of the coach, players  will join in the     finals  day(s) of the current Summer Camp program.

Contact the office for pricing information.  See you at the Tournaments!

 Best,
 Kim and the KGTA Team!
